B. User-Generated Content and Local Storage

routemate.top is designed with a local-first philosophy.

  • Travel Plans & Itineraries: Your trip lists, itineraries, saved items, and settings are stored locally on your device in IndexedDB (using Dexie.js).
  • API Keys: If you input custom API keys, they are stored on your device and are transmitted to the respective third-party integration endpoints (such as WeatherStack, AviationStack, OpenRouteService, etc.) to fetch the requested weather, flight, and routing data.

C. Live Intelligence Services

To fetch flight tracking data and real-time weather forecasts, routemate.top interacts with third-party service providers (WeatherStack and AviationStack). We do not transmit your personal Google profile data to these services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Authenticate your identity and log you into your personal account.
  • Create and manage your user profile in routemate.top.
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., displaying your profile image and name).
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.

  • Data Retention: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile information is permanently removed from our user registry.
