Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the routemate.top application ("the App"), hosted at routemate.top and github.com/strike007-3000/RouteMate, an independent, consumer-facing leisure travel itinerary utility.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the App.

1. Description of Service

routemate.top is an interactive personal travel planner application that provides offline-capable travel intelligence (including itinerary building, transit routing, weather forecasts, and flight status tracking) designed exclusively for consumer holiday planning and leisure travel itinerary management.

2. User Accounts & Security

  • Authentication: The App uses Clerk to manage user authentication, including Google OAuth (Sign-in with Google).
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or signing in.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or the servers or networks hosting it.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the proprietary components or custom styling of the App without permission.
  • Abuse, spam, or make excessive requests to the integration APIs (e.g., AI Core, Weather, Flights) provided within the App.
  • Utilize the App for commercial transport scheduling, fleet tracking, freight manifest routing, or any B2B logistics operations.

4. Intellectual Property & Third-Party APIs

  • App Code: The codebase is open-source and governed by the repository license.
  • Third-Party Services: routemate.top connects to various third-party services including Clerk, Google Maps, OpenRouteService, WeatherStack, and AviationStack. Your use of these integrated features is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those respective third-party providers.

4a. Free-Tier & Non-Commercial Utility

routemate.top is 100% free of charge for the developer community and leisure travelers. There are no commercial paywalls, billing integrations, or subscription fees.

4b. Legal Disclaimer & Non-Affiliation

routemate.top is an independent personal holiday planning utility. It has no affiliation, connection, or association with any commercial B2B fleet management platforms, logistics routing software, or enterprise courier tracking services. Commercial transport scheduling, fleet tracking, or freight manifest routing is strictly prohibited under Section 3 (Acceptable Use).

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

routemate.top is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The flight tracking, weather, or routing intelligence will be 100% accurate, complete, or up-to-date.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders of routemate.top be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post any updates directly to this file or the app home page.
